Songs may be saved and restored using the usual file menu commands. The file open command also allows you to load an alternative drum kit (implemented in v1.2). A separate desktop command line utility is available that will allow you to convert a completed drum arrangement to a single .wav file.
Once you are ready to play, connect the eBookman to your guitar amp, mixer or head phones and then press the Play->Song menu command. There is a pause while the output sound is generated. This only occurs once if you do not make any further changes to the song. The sound in the default kit is played at 8000 samples per second.
Version 1.2 also includes a lame Guitar Tuner widget that allows you to tune your guitar from reference tones.
